We are starting a new sermon series as of April 19. We are calling this series Stories from a Roadtrip with Jesus. We are continuing our focus on what it means to step out in faith as followers of Jesus, both as individuals as well as a community of faith. This particular series will take us through what is sometimes referred to as the Travel Narrative in the Gospel of Luke – Luke 9:51 to 19:27. We will be looking in particular at the stories (parables) Jesus told that Luke has recorded in this section to find out how they can apply in a practical way to our lives today

The team of 18 will join the trip.

Please be in prayer for our team as we prepare for both children and youth ministry at Casa de Luz. Also pray for the trip down and back to be uneventful as we cross two borders going each way. We are excited to have families going with us this time and hope their experience will be a catalyst for other families to go on the same adventure together. When you go together as a family it becomes a shared experience that multiplies in the spiritual benefit from it.

  1. Welcome to our 45th Anniversary Joint Sunday Service ( in the sanctuary, A8 and gym). We are happy to have Rev. David Chan as the speaker on this special occasion. The sermons will be uploaded to our YouTube channel at 2:30pm.
  • Group Photo will be taken in the sanctuary after the announcement time. If you are in the gym and A8, please walk to the stage of the sanctuary.

Pacific Grace requires all volunteers who serve in children, youth, and senior ministries to complete annual refresher training. This training is mandatory for those who’ve already completed the formal Plan to Protect Orientation. This year, returning volunteers will receive a video link to view. It’s expected that all returning volunteers will watch the video before July ends. After viewing, please scan the QR code at the end of the video or this link to confirm your viewing.

Dim-sum lunch celebration will be arranged on 12pm after the Joint Service in the Gym. Dim-sum Lunch Box includes shrimp dumpling, pork & shrimp dumpling, steamed beef ball, chiu chow dumpling, bean curd roll , sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf and a cake. Registration starting 5/3 with Phil Ho. Register on or before 5/31, $5/box for age 12 and below with $10+ church subsidy, $10/box for others. $15/box for all if registered on 6/1-7. Limited quantity, first come first serve.

Please be in prayer for our team as we prepare for both children and youth ministry at Casa de Luz. Also pray for the trip down and back to be uneventful as we cross two borders going each way. We are excited to have families going with us this time and hope their experience will be a catalyst for other families to go on the same adventure together. We are starting a new sermon series as of April 19. We are calling this series Stories from a Roadtrip with Jesus. We are continuing our focus on what it means to step out in faith as followers of Jesus, both as individuals as well as a community of faith.   1. Outreach Opportunity

As part of our focus on outreach to our community we partner with CityReach Care Society. CityReach serves over 60 schools in the Greater Vancouver Area through food support, seasonal events, and other essential resources to see students, schools, and communities thrive. They work with each school’s needs and offer creative solutions that make the most impact. The current project includes collecting items for our Hygiene Kits for preteens. Among the top items that are needed are men’s and women’s deodorant, soap, shampoo (medium size bottles), combs, hair ties, and socks.  Donations can be dropped off in the container by the entrance to the gym or outside of Pastor Don’s office. Donations will be collected up to and including TODAY, April 26
